A passenger has spoken to Me-Tele about the night bus accident in Mihama Town, Mie Prefecture, where the bus crashed into a roadside forest, resulting in the death of the driver.
Passenger Souta Sasanochi said, "There were people around me who had cuts on their heads, noses, and mouths, bleeding heavily. The person sitting right behind the driver's seat had the most bleeding."

Sasanochi boarded the bus at approximately 8:20 PM on the 22nd from the Shichiri Mihama bus stop, heading to Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The accident occurred about 10 minutes after the bus departed from this stop. Sasanochi recounted, "It suddenly felt like it dropped with a jolt, then hit a tree. One of the passengers called out to the driver but got no response. A person who seemed to be a nurse gave instructions, helping everyone to remain calm and act accordingly."
